10. What is the difference between iron meteorite and glass meteorite?

Iron meteorites are composed mainly of iron-nickel alloy and come from the core of shattered asteroids. They exhibit beautiful Widmanstätten patterns when etched. Glass meteorites (tektites) are natural glass formed when a meteorite impact melts terrestrial rock. They have a glassy appearance and are typically dark green or black in color.

Standard shipping typically takes 7-15 business days depending on your location. DHL Express shipping takes 3-5 business days worldwide. Please note that customs clearance may cause delays in some countries. All orders include full tracking information.
